The Society of Medical Students, Malaysian Medical Association will be hosting the 1st Malaysian International Medical Students Conference. It shall be held from the 4th till the 6th of Seprember 2009 in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
This Conference will be a progression from the Malaysian Medical Students Conference (MMSC), as we open our doors further to International Medical Students and young doctors. The host of the conference is the Society of Malaysia Medical Association Medical Students (SMMAMS)which is formed by a group of medical students from various universities in Malaysia.
This year's theme, Peace, war and Natural Calamities comes in a time where there has been many disaster, either peacetime or war related in the world. Although Malaysia has been in peacetime for a long time, and so is a large majority of the world, doctors have to always be prepared to face any eventuality.
